Hi everyone, 

The container to the US will reach the port by October 31st; once there, it will move forward to the clearance process and start the individual fulfillment. We expect to deliver individual tracking numbers for the US orders by Nov 4th. 

This batch also includes add-ons from the delivered orders, plus all the units for the US. Also, a friendly reminder that any address change is not possible at this point; if you wish to make any changes, you can contact the courier once you get a tracking number. They will be able to help you change your order´s address.

Pallets waiting to be loaded.

We have pallets awaiting to be loaded for the European, UK, Australian, and NZ orders. ETD is Oct 27th. Our logistic partner has to wait for the rest of the ship’s load. We expect to complete this group by mid-November.

For the rest of the orders, the rework stage took more than our plan. So these units will be sent to our warehouse in HK by the end of the month. Once there, you will receive your tracking number a week later.

Hi everyone, 

We received comments about some issues in the first orders. Fortunately, all of them have been resolved remotely. A big thanks to all of you that help me open their Sandsara's and document issues through videos and pictures to find the best solution. 

Thanks to all these backers, we corrected the units in our WH to offer a seamless experience for the rest of the backers. We have updated the SD cards with the latest firmware for the last two weeks, double-checked missing screws, and reworked some magnet arms. 

Now, I know that the vital info is about how we will return to shipping, and here is the schedule: 

  • As I write this, a full container is being loaded to fulfill all the US and Canadian orders. This container will leave the Chinese port by Sept 29th. And it will take around 3-4 weeks to complete all the processes. 
  • We will load a smaller container to fulfill European and UK orders. This container will depart by October 8th, and it will also take 3-4 weeks for total fulfillment. 
  • We will prepare six consolidated pallets to ship Australian and NZ orders, this batch will depart the port by Oct 10th, and it will take 2-3 weeks for total fulfillment. 
  • We will ship directly from our China warehouse for the rest of the orders. The units for them will reach the warehouse by Oct 12th, and the shipping process will take about 2-3 weeks. 

I will share tracking numbers with you as soon as our logistic partners provide them. Thanks a lot for your extra patience in this last stage.

Hi everyone, 

Our first batch has been delivered, and some questions have arisen. There are some units with hardware-related issues. We are talking with those users to understand the problems better and solve them ASAP. At the moment, all the issues have been solved with small fixtures, but while we finish this feedback process, we decided to keep the rest of the batches on hold in case we need to do some rework. 

So please, if you receive your Sandsara and there’s anything that you think is not the usual work of the device, reach us by email by sending a video of your issue to [email protected] 

The faster we discover all the issues, the faster we will move forward with delivering the other batches. 

For the app problems, we are working on new versions. We just launched a new one two days ago; it is supposed that your device must update the app automatically. But it is better to erase the current one and download it again. Then please update the firmware of your Sandsara again; we solve connection problems and default settings with this version.

Hi everyone,

Some of you are receiving your Sandsara’s. So I prepared this quick update for the most common doubts and comments.

Silicone Tabs

As mentioned during the campaign, the glass covers include silicone tabs to hold the glass better to the wood ring. First, we planned to place the tabs on the glass and send them that way, but some of them got lost in the packaging test. So we added them separately in the power adapter compartment. Unfortunately, we missed correcting this extra step in the instructions, so some of you might not notice that the tabs are there.

Sorry for the error; we hope that this notice did not get late. And thanks to the backers that notice us about it.

Connection issues

We received some comments regarding problems connecting your Sandsara with the app. Please let us know by DM or comment your cellphone model and describe your issues. This way, we can make a more efficient debugging and update the app or Sandsara firmware.

We worked to deliver the app with the minor problems possible, but with software, you never discover all the situations until real users start testing your product. Fortunately, we can solve all the firmware and app problems remotely.

Black Sand / Extra Metal Ball

For logistics reasons, our partner decides to send the tiny accessories in another package. We just received notice, but your add-ons are on the way. I will let you know if there are tracking numbers for these ASAP.

Sandsara is not moving or has problems with calibration

Some of you are having physical issues with your Sandsara; some are not moving the ball or keeping it locked in the calibration stage. If you are having this problem, please update the firmware of your Sandsara through the app.

If you think you have a problem beyond this one, please reach us by email to help you with the following steps to solve any problem.

Rest of the orders

The rest of the orders are completely assembled. We decided to wait for the first backers to get their Sandsaras to check for further problems in case we need to review something. Fortunately, everything seems that are problems that we can solve remotely. If this continues, we will start the fulfillment process for the rest of the orders in the following days. I will post detailed information about this by the next week.

Hi everyone,

Recently I posted a comment stating that the Sandsara App was available in the App Store. We had to make further adjustments for the android users, so it took us more time, but now, it is also available in the Google Play Store.

The app will help you to personalize your Sandsara by selecting the patterns that you like the most, adding more designs, or changing the colors of the lights.

Even when we are happy with our current development, we are working on more features for the app, so please send us any feedback so we can improve our current version.

Regarding shipping and manufacturing, the container with the 300 Sandsara has been cleared!

We are only a few days away from the first orders to receive their units. For those backers, you will receive your tracking numbers by the end of the week. And it will take another week to receive your Sandsara by your door. After clearance, the container is on its way to the US warehouse, where our partner will split everything in orders and start the individual fulfillment.

For the rest of the orders, we mentioned that all orders would be completed by late August, and we are on track to accomplish so. We expect to complete all processes in around one week. Depending on the courier, your package might take 2 to 3 weeks once we start shipping.

Please be wary of any message this week because you might receive your tracking number!
