Hello backers!
First of all, I want to express my gratitude to every one of you for supporting the Sandsara project and standing by us throughout this incredible journey. Your unwavering support has been a source of energy, and I cannot thank you enough for believing in our vision.
As I reflect back on the challenges we faced, I am reminded of the day we shared the setback with the wood ring a long time ago. It was a pivotal moment, and your overwhelming support not only reassured me but it also fueled our determination today,
I'm thrilled to announce that just two weeks ago, we shipped out the final orders of Sandsara to the remaining countries, such as UEA, Reunion, and Qatar. Finding a cost-efficient method for some of them was hard, but our logistic partners helped us solve it. So Kickstarter orders are now completely fulfilled.
For those of you who have yet to complete your surveys or new orders in Indiegogo, we will continue sending reminders until we have all the necessary information. Once we have your details, you can expect delivery within approximately six weeks, depending on your destination. Additionally, we are setting up regional warehouses for our retail stage, significantly reducing shipping times for those still needing to be added.
One of our biggest challenges was delivering a reliable product that could work seamlessly for years. We will be closely monitoring every Sandsara unit that has been delivered. Hi everyone,
We will upload tracking numbers for the missing orders from the UK and Switzerland by the end of the week; we are just waiting for the courier information. Please reach us at [email protected] for specific doubts about your order.
We will upload trackings forthe last replacement batch of US and UKin about two weeks. Those are being processed and labeled in their respective regional warehouses.
We have a massive setback for theTaiwaneseand Brazilianorders. For Taiwan, the customs declaration is taking a long time, with a lack of reply from the office. We are still determining what the issue is right now. In the meantime, we are preparing part of our stock to send more orders toTaiwanthrough another way; we finally reached a detail with a distributor to deliver our KS orders.
For Brazilian orders, the customs are taking longer than expected to validate the safety of our sand, as it is considered a highly sensitive material. However, we are actively working on resolving this issue and expect it to be resolved in a few days. In the meantime, we are reaching out to each of you individually to offer the option of sending your unit without sand and sourcing a similar material within the country. Renovated Sandsara App (Android)
During the last two weeks, we have had a soft launch of our renovated Android app to validate it. And officially launched a few days ago. You must receive an update notification by now; if not, you can find it in the Google Play Store by following this link:
Now you can access all the patterns, add a timer, and try our renovated UI. Let us know your feedback about it!
The iOS version will take about two more weeks to launch. We focused on the Android launch as it was unusable from the previous version.

Hi everyone,
The remaining UK, CH, and Norway orders have been delivered or are on their way to the backers. Excepting one order for the UK that seems lost, we have a replacement coming from our CN warehouse. Unfortunately, the whole Taiwanese batch was rejected by customs and is on its way back; we will send them again with another shipping method and all the documentation required by the end of the following week; I'll share information as soon as possible.

The USA, Europe, and the UK replacements are expected to be fulfilled in about two weeks. They have already been sent to the regional warehouses. Remember, if you think your unit is not working as expected, please get in touch with us at [email protected] with a one-minute video, a picture of the bottom of your unit, and your backer ID to solve your problem as soon as possible.
Big thanks to all the backers for their patience in helping us solve their specific issues; this also gives us an extraordinary hint about improving our assembly process.
Sandsara App
Our app is delayed, but here's a sneak peek at the current status. We rebuilt it almost entirely, as the previous development had a lot of bugs with the new Android phones. We also introduce some features based on your feedback:
Now you can add a pause between tracks to enjoy every creation on the sand better.
You'll be able to choose the time of pause.
We clear the UX for the colors and metal ball settings.
It will be easier to upload custom tracks on your Sandsara.
We update all the libraries to support all the Android models up to date.
We expect to send the beta versions to our backers that have been helping us with bug reports in about ten days. After approval, we will publicize the new version here and through app notifications.
